1. Overview
VitalBridge Collective (“we”, “us”) provides Behavioral Economics education. This Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, legal bases, retention, and your rights. We do not sell personal data.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, password hash
- Transaction data: course selections, payment confirmation IDs (processed by payment providers)
- Usage data: pages viewed, device type, approximate location (city), and event timestamps
- Support data: messages you send via our contact form
3. How we use data
- Provide and improve courses, personalize recommendations, and secure accounts
- Communicate about enrollments, updates, and policy changes
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues
4. Legal bases
We process data to perform a contract, with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests (service improvement and security) balanced with your rights.
5. Sharing
We share data with vendors who process it on our behalf under contracts (e.g., payment, email delivery). We do not sell personal information. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
6. Retention
We retain account and transaction data for as long as you have an account and as required by law. Support messages are kept for up to 24 months. Usage data is aggregated or deleted after 18 months.
7. Your rights
- Access, correction, deletion, and portability of your personal information
- Objection and restriction to certain processing
- Withdrawal of consent at any time where processing relies on consent
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and logging. No method is 100% secure; we work to mitigate risks and respond to incidents promptly.
9. International transfers
Data may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where applicable, we use standard contractual clauses and vendor assessments.
10. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16. If we learn a child provided personal data, we will delete it.
